When the sun went down I drove across town
With crazy thoughts in my head
You don’t know how close you came
Last night to being dead

I stood outside your home crazed and all alone
You’d be scared of what was on my mind
My intentions real, I could no longer feel
You bled my heart until it finally died

You just can’t be cruel, treat me like a fool
And expect to get away scot-free
You’d better watch your back , cut me no slack
You've created your worst enemy

Sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind
And there’s nothing I can do
My body, my soul ,they’re crying for help
Why can’t you see how much I needed you
You told me not to cry, when all I wanted was held
Told everything would be okay
Instead of taking me into loving arms
You turned and walked away
You walked away…

Well you don’t walk away from a woman burned
It’s not a safe thing to do
When the fire that will send my soul to hell
Began with me loving you

And where you went I’ll never know
A stranger took your place
With a heart of stone, and eyes just as cold
In my lover's face

~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
I bowed my head down low, fell to my knees
And I prayed for God to intervene
Help me not to kill this heartless man
Who used to mean the world to me
I felt a calming warmth, like a gentle hug
He brought his answer on the wind
Promising revenge of the sweetest kind
You'll get exactly what you give
~~~*2nd Chorus*~~~
Someday you’ll feel like you’re losing your mind
When there's nothing you can do
Your body, your soul, will be crying for help
She won’t want a thing to do with you
She’ll tell you not to cry
When all you’ll want’s to be held
Told everything will be okay
Instead of taking you into loving arms
She’ll turn and walk away
She’ll walk away…
