HOME...MONTANA

I have two Grandpas
Charles and Abraham
One is a Cowboy
And one’s a business man

When my parents plane went down
They both came for me
Grandpa Abe tried to buy me
Grandpa Charlie set me free

I’d been in that boarding school
Since I was six years old
He said “You've wasted too much time in here
I'm going to bring you home

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Home
Montana
It’s the Mountains for me
The “Missions” and the “Rockies”
As far as the eye can see
The scent of wildflowers
Delivered by the wind
I can’t tell where the beauty starts
Don’t think it ever ends
I left behind the city life
And didn't shed a tear
I was born for these mountains
Lord, I’m grinning ear to ear
~~*~~
Grandpa Abe came six months later
He said to reason with me
You need a top notch education
If you’re planning to succeed
He didn't step out of that Lincoln
Just shook my hand goodbye
When I said, “The best success
Is right before your eyes!"
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
I am home, home, home
I am home
I am alive
 I will not be moved
My heart is set in stone
For the first time in my life
I am home…
~~~*~~~
~~~*Chorus*~~~
Home
Montana
It’s the Mountains for me
The “Missions” and the “Rockies”
As far as the eye can see
The scent of wildflowers
Delivered by the wind
I can’t tell where the beauty starts
Don’t think it ever ends
I left behind the city life
And didn't shed a tear
I was born for these mountains
Lord, I’m grinning ear to ear
~~*~~

I know Daddy’s up there thinking
That I must have lost my mind
But  Mama’s hugging Angels
Above A big Montana sky
Because I’m….

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Home
Montana…
~~*~~
