TEN DAYS...FOUR MEN (HUNTING CAMP)

I was loading up my truck
Heading to hunting camp
My Son pointed at the beer
Asked why you need all that

I told him that this time
Kenny said he’s coming up
Don’t want to come back early
So I have to take enough

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Yeah…
The last time that we went
We didn't have enough
Ten days, Four men
That’s what I call rough
Blake brought some tequila
Said y’all just help yourselves
Ten days, Four men
That’s what I call Hell
Tim ate all the jerky
What the heck is up with that?
Ten days, Four men
We call it hunting camp
~~*~~
The first day that we got there
We put up all the tents
That night we started drinking
Well, all of us but Tim
In the morning we went hunting
We killed a single buck
Counted up three bullet holes
So it was one of us
I said I think I shot it
Yeah, that’s my hole right here
Blake said his was through the heart
He was grinning ear to ear
Tim’s shot was the cleanest one
Right between the eyes
Kenny yelled let’s celebrate
Yah! We raised the bottles high
For five days we saw nothing
And we only had one fight
We ate, and talked, and partied
Tim hid the guns at night
I won’t say who the jerk was
Holding his aching head
Wanted to leave him at the camp
He went with Tim instead
Heard a shot and a holler
Kenny smiled at me
Said I’ll bet that hurt his head
Come on let’s go and see
Tim had shot another buck
All by himself this time
Reason enough to celebrate
We’re going on day nine
On the tenth day we packed up
Yah, camp’s come to an end
We’re hung over and We're dirty
Well, all of us but Tim
We left with hoots and hollers
See ya later Champs
Can’t wait until next season
To go to hunting camp
~~~*Chorus*~~~
Yeah…
The last time that we went
We didn't have enough
Ten days, Four men
That’s what I call rough
Blake brought some tequila
Said y’all just help yourselves
Ten days, Four men
That’s what I call Hell
Tim ate all the jerky
What the heck is up with that?
Ten days, Four men
We call it hunting camp
