SOUND LONGINGS

Horse's hooves on cobblestone
Bamboo wind chimes
Bone hits bone
Wolf howls in the dead of night
Singing crystal
Lover's sighs
Distant trains, soft flowing streams
Chanting soldiers
Brittle leaves

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Every sound, to me, unique
Spirit moving, and distinct
Echoes I won't soon forget
Now confess your deep regret
The sound that I most long to hear
Whisper, you miss me, in my ear
~~*~~
Music reaching deep inside
Crickets chirping
Dancing kites
Babies laughing from their hearts
The falling rain
Shuffling cards
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
My senses are alive now
My body starts to sweat
So many sounds, for miles around
But you haven't shown up yet
The aural that I long for
Your whisper in my ear
You miss me
You love me
That's all I want to hear
~~*~~

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Every sound, to me, unique
Spirit moving, and distinct
Echoes I won't soon forget
Now confess your deep regret
The sound that I most long to hear
Whisper, you miss me, in my ear
~~*~~
