CHOOSE OUR FATE

I dream of a refuge
It's on an island
Far from animosity
Where we have shelters
Grow big gardens
Have no electricity
A pool of fresh water
Fed by the falls
And fruit trees of every kind
My dream's a reflection
Of the contention
Weighing heavy on my mind

~~~*Chorus*~~~
I'll take a God- given hurricane
A tsunami, any raging storm
Monsoons washing everything away
His disasters in any form
But I reject... the malice of man
The collision of their greed and hate
I'll take everyone I love with me
In my dreams, it's not too late
We get to choose our fate
~~*~~
I dream of a prison
It's in the desert
Far from loving human beings
There’s no escaping
No bleeding hearts
That will set these villains free
The souls who are evil
Are all shoved in there
Forgotten like they should be
A dream born of disgust
Outrage and mistrust
For allies to the enemy
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
I know our world will never be
The Garden of Eden
There are wars and torture
Righteous screams
Why not contain the demons
When we have the power
To grant what all the gracious dream
It's not too late
Let us choose our fate
~~*~~

~~~*Chorus*~~~
I'll take a God- given hurricane
A tsunami, any raging storm
Monsoons washing everything away
His disasters in any form
But I reject… the malice of man
The collision of their greed and hate
I'll take everyone I love with me
In my dreams, it's not too late
We get to choose our fate
