TWISTED GAME

I've seen the unforgiving wind bend a beam of steel
So what made me think my heart was safe
I saw the rivers rage until they overflow
Compromising all that’s in their way

I've seen the deepest of sorrow, at the hand of war
And a quake that rips the earth apart
I know everyone’s a victim when disaster comes
Why’d I think you couldn't ruin my heart

Oh, oh, oh…..

~~~*1st Chorus*~~~
You set me up like bowling pins
Waiting for the crashing ball
You've been placing dominoes
Knowing just how they’ll fall
I am the target in your twisted game
Well go ahead and throw the darts
There is nothing to stop me from playing too
You've already blasted through my heart
Yeah…I've been burned
Now it is my turn
~~*~~
You shouldn't underestimate a clever girl
Now that I don’t have a thing to lose
Get ready to be bent like that beam of steel
I flipped the board so the loser’s you
Oh to feel the satisfaction flowing forcefully
When you beat someone at their own game
Is like the conquering of every doubt you've had
When the pain diverts a different way
Hey, hey, hey….
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
When the earth starts to shimmy underneath your feet
Or the wind may blow a little strong
Every time you cross a bridge. of a rising river
You’ll think of me, and all that you did wrong
Hey, hey, hey
Such a twisted game
~~*~~

~~~* Chorus*~~~
You set me up like bowling pins
Waiting for the crashing ball
You were placing dominoes
Knowing just how they’d fall
I was the target in your twisted game
You went ahead and threw the darts
There was nothing to stop me from playing too
You’d already blasted through my heart
Yeah…I was burned
Then it was my turn
~~*~~
~~~*Finale*~~~
You beat me over and over
No remorse or shame
How’s it feel to be the loser
At your own game
~~*~~
Hey, hey, hey…
