TISHOMINGO ANGEL

I was stranded in a parking lot
When my Angel showed
Bartender took my truck keys
So I had no place to go
And it's a long way home
To Tishomingo

She had a Chevy Silverado
Shining black with chrome
Got out and walked up to me
Whispered "Cowboy you alone?"
Then we were on the road...
To Tishomingo

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Oh, my Angel hails from Texas
And I was born just up the road
Now we live in Johnston county
And my Angel's right at home...
In Tishomingo
~~*~~
I was waiting in that parking lot
Knowing she would show
I'd called her to come get me
When the drinks began to flow
Cause it's a long way home
To Tishomingo
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
No....
It's not fun to travel
When you're driving all alone
I'd rather have my Angel
Love and laughter on the road
Oh Angel drive me home...
To Tishomingo
~~*~~

~~~*Chorus*~~~
Yeah, my Angel hails from Texas
And I was born just up the road
Now we live in Johnston county
And my Angel's right at home...
In Tishomingo
