HIDDEN HEART

A hand against her cheekbone
One more time
It didn't matter how it hurt
There were no more tears to cry
She'd be damned if she would let him
See sorrow in her eyes
She took it
She put it
In a place he'd never find

~~~*1st Chorus*~~~
She put it in her heart
A sad and lonely hollow
Permanently scarred
A deep secluded chamber
Filled with her despair
She put it in her heart
He'd never find it there
~~*~~
She wonders why she takes it
Like she does
With no belief he'll ever be
The man she thought he was
He beats out every shred of hope
That she will have a life
Her old dreams
She puts them
In a place he'll never find
~~~*~~~
She puts them in her heart
~~~*~~~
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
How can it feel so empty
Crowded with regrets
She hides things in her heart
He hasn't found it yet
~~*~~

~~~*2nd chorus*~~~
The sad and lonely hollow
Permanently scarred
 The deep secluded chamber
Filled with her despair
She hides things in her heart
Cause he'll never find them there
~~*~~
