THE TRUTH

We’re supposed to forgive our enemies

Well, this is a problem for me

I won’t lie and say I can, just to please

I honestly believe...

 “The truth shall set you free”

The truth is I don’t care

If he lives, or if he dies

I think that this world needs

The filth wiped from our lives

I wonder who would be affected

But no one comes to mind

I know I should forgive him

God knows that I won’t try

When someone hurts a child

They are poison in my eyes

A dose of vile evilness

That’s fatal given time

I know he will be judged 

The courts will slap his hand

But I’d remove the evidence

He ever was a man

If you've never seen hatred

All I need is five minutes

That's all that I require

Where’s the justice in letting him
Back out on the streets
To victimize another child
It’s deplorable to me

You say he was reformed,
Been to jail, paid his fines
What would that sentence be
If it had been the judges child

They tell me to move on
There’s nothing I can do
My heart is exploding
Erupting with the truth..

They rob a child of innocence, 
Take a healthy little soul
They may not take their life
But they've murdered what was whole

I cannot understand
What is wrong with all of you
You’re as corrupt as the immoral
That’s the truth!
