I forgot to pay the power bill
Now I’m sitting in the dark
They towed away my car today
Didn't like the way I parked
I died my hair and turned it green
With a subtle tint of blue
A baseball came through my window
And the puppy ate my shoes
Boy do I need you….
~~~*Chorus*~~~
You turn my crisis to a comedy
Say it’s just an interlude
I’m a classic example
Of the trials we go through
And while we laugh until it hurts
You’re fixing everything
If my life is a collection
You’re the greatest thing
The boss said they’re downsizing
That he’ll have to let me go
I've had three potential roommates
Not a single one has showed
I left my purse in the café
Hurried back, but it was gone
No surprise the bank calls
To say I’m overdrawn
I threw my hands up in the air
And thought man what do I do
My bad luck's turning chronic
Boy do I need you…
~~~*Chorus*~~~
You turn my crisis to a comedy
You say it’s just an interlude
I’m a classic example
Of the trials we go through
And while we laugh until it hurts
You’re fixing everything
If my life is a collection
You’re the greatest thing

Cooking a meal to thank you
Caused a blaze inside the stove
The fire truck came and ruined
Every single thing I own
The landlord said he’s done with me
That I've made the building stink
I guess I'm not a classic
Just a bummer of a jinx
~~~*Lyrical Bridge*~~~
You said a jinx hurts other people
You just hurt yourself
And I think fate put me down here
Because you sure need my help
No it doesn't ever get to me
I like helping you with things
I’m just glad you didn't kill
yourself
Before I paid off this ring
You’re the greatest thing
~~*~~
~~~*Chorus*~~~
You turn my crisis to a comedy
You say it’s just an interlude
I’m a classic example
Of the trials we go through
And while we laugh until it hurts
You’re fixing everything
If my life is a collection
You’re the greatest thing
