He lived a waking nightmare at school
They teased him all the time
When you grow up, being the joke
Confidence is hard to find

Almost gave up in middle school
But got mad in the end
Quit hiding in the shadows
And began confronting them

His Freshmen year came and went
Tried to make a friend in vain
They were calling him the seagull
Said he wouldn't go away
